    Matsuura with Yasnac MX3 helical interpolation

    I have a Masuura 560V with a Yasnac MX3 control. According to my manual helical interpolation was optional for this machine/controller. Does anyone know how to tell if I have that option installed? Or how to get it if I don't?

    IIRC, the Matsuura's had Helical Interpolation as standard. Have you tried programming a helix? Do you get an alarm?

    I haven't tried it yet. I'll give it a go and see what happens. The G2 and G3 are circular if the option isn't installed so I guess nothing catastrophic will happen if I just give it a try.
