    Are the wire color of stepper motors standardized?

    I have a bunch of 6 wire stepper motors sitting around. Just wondering, are the colors of the wire standardized? Thanks.

    Yes, they are all standard. Unfortunately they all follow their own standard.

    Just get out your meter and trace them out. For six wires, you will get continuity through sets of three. Then between the three, the resistance will be half through the center tap to the other legs.
