I am a small manufacturer looking for a bench top CNC lathe with a collet chuck. I need this for cutting a small screw-like groove in plastic tubing. We cut about 12 different sizes with the diameter of the tubing running from .055" to .210" and with the length of the groove running from 4 1/2" to 8 1/2". I need the collets to hold the tubing firmly without marring the surface and would like to use a draw bar to facilitate production but I can't find any bench top lathes with a through hole large enough to accommodate a draw bar. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is a company that sells 3j collets and manual closers on e-bay.
those will fit in a 9x20 size lathe.

Thanks for your reply. My original choice for a bench top lathe was the Tormach Duality lathe. It has 4.3" swing over saddle and 11.8" distance between centers with a .79" spindle through hole.
I guess I'll have to get something bigger if I want collets and a closer.
