    Toyoda Tool change help

    Hi Anthony
    We bought a 1988 Toyoda FH55 with Fanuc 15M control.
    When I call a tool change it show a message "Can not tool selection"
    any idea what I should check?? This machine had coolant thru spindle option but I don't know which M code to turn it on, can you help.

    OK Frank,

    I just spoke with our service techs and they said you should call 800-257-2985, which is our direct service line at our headquarters outside of Chicago. They are going to need some additional information, including the serial number of your machine. If you have any additional questions, I'll be happy to help.

    don't know if you got it fixed or not, but this is an eazy fix. the machine thinks that it has a tool staged to put in the spindle. just give it a plane M6 command and it should preform the tool change. if it places a tool in the spindle, remove it. if not look to see what tool it thinks that it has in the spindle and remove that tool from the magazine. everything should be good to go from there.

    yep..thats what i do with out fh55
