    MDS-A-SVJ10 ALARM 17 ??

    Hello All.

    I have a Mori-seiki TV-300 with a MSC-802M control.
The alarm on the screen is S01 SERVO ALARM 17.
The drive unit is a Mitsubishi MDS-A-SVJ-10 with is also showing the alarm 17.

The alarm was raised a few weeks ago but I have left it untill now untill I have replaced the batteries in it.

On the servo screen, the AMP DISP. is 17, the other three are E7.
On the abs-srv screen, the "state" is OK along with the other three.

Does anyone know what this alarm means with possible causes and hopefully a remedy?

    Need Help! MDS-A-SVJ10 ALARM 17 ??

    Hi,

Alarm 17 is the A/D Error on the drive card.
    You can check for
    a) The Earth connection is ok.
    b) If any cast iron dust is collected on the drive card.

If everything is ok, the drive card may be required to be replaced.

    All the Best.

    Girish
