Blockwise transfer to TNC355, max amount of blocks?

    Hi..

I´m just wondering how many blocks you actually can transfer to the machine via drip feed?

I remebered i read something about 65xxx blocks stated by Heidenhain. Is this correct? I thought it was unlimited due to the erase of the earlier blocks.

I made a program from Rhino 4.0 with madcam software and this program is 85300 blocks. It would be great to know if this is possible to run before i start

Machine is Mikron WF71 with TNC355 controller.

    Thanks.

I run a tnc355 with drip feed, have run over 150000 lines of code, although if it stops the read out on the screen doesn't give correct line number. Not sure what it is, 65000 then possibly restarts from zero. Worth checking the code before sending, mine ocasionally starts a line with out a line number so I import the code into Excel and data sort, this leave spurious code at the bottom. You can search for it and delete/adjust as required. James

Hi.. Yes i ran the program and it worked just fine, for me it looks like the 355 counts 999 lines and then begins from 0 again.

    Thank you for the input.
