Hello;
I hope this is the right place for this question.
I want to engrave a logo on my CNC machine, but all the files I'm finding on the net are in .EPS format , but I need .DXF format because this is the only format my cad program will open! :-(
I've done a search on this, but I've come up empty handed. Any help would be appreciated.

Google pstoedit and Ghostscript. Not the easiest to use, but they'll do it for free.

Well I just spent the last hour and a half trying to open these programs.
I downloaded both pstoedit, as well as ghostscript.
I needed Winzip to expand pstoedit, so I downloaded that also.
Unfortunately, there was no .exe for the pstoedit, so I could not open the program.
I then downloaded the 32bit version on Ghostscript, but I could not run that.
I then downloaded the 64 bit version of Ghostsript, and that would not open.
I'm not totally useless with computers, but this seems to be beyond my capabilities.
I just need a program that is somewhat easy to use.

The newer versions of most graphics packages like Corel Draw should be able to import and export EPS and DXF files.

I'm not sure if that is any help but most people either have Corel or know someone who does.

download demo of adobe illistrator if you dont already have it.

open the eps in illistrator and go to file /export and export as .DXF

thats how I do it
