MAZAK FH6800's Parameters for Tool Lenght measurement system

Hi all, I have a mazak machine Fh6800 for which i need to know the parameters related to the tool length measurement system, specially for its position. I am facing a problem in the length of tool measured by this system (measurement came 5.5 mm shorter than actual length)

i hava a procedure with drawings
i can send it to you by e mail

    a) Mount a sharp-pointed tool to the spindle.
    b) Extend the measuring unit.
    c) Align the center of a tool with the center of the plunger, and then input
the machine coordinate values of the X- and Y-axes displayed on the POSITION
screen to the parameter R2398 (X axis) and R2396 (Y axis) respectively.
(Enter negative values without a decimal point when inputting to the
    parameter. Unit: 0.001 mm)
    * Operating procedure
    c)-1. Select the DIAGNOS display.
    c)-2. Select the VERSION display.
c)-3. Select the DIAGNOS MONITOR display.
c)-4. Move a cursor to the address position under the I/O MONITOR
WRITE using a cursor key, and enter the parameter numbers using the
address/numeric data keys on the operation panel, then press the
INPUT key. The address is highlighted in red. (The figure below
shows that R2398 is input to the address.)
c)-5. When a cursor is moved to the position indicated by a red
arrow, it is reversed to white as shown below.

    c)-6. Press the LONG key.
c)-7. Enter the machine coordinate values of the X- and Y-axes
displayed on the POSITION screen using the numeric day keys. (Enter
negative values without a decimal point when inputting to the
    parameter. Unit: 0.001 mm)
    d) After returning all the axes to the home position, turn off the power and
turn it on again. Return all the axes to the home position and extend the
measuring unit. Mount a sharp-pointed tool to the spindle and measure the
tool length in the single block operation. Check to see if the parameters
    have been set correctly.

I am getting an error of -5.5mm in the lengths of tools by this system. This procedure seems good enough for adjustment of X and Y axis values of tool measurement system. But i also need to make some other adjustments so that measured tool length can be corrected. Can you help me in this regard.

    Thanking you
