    dual x axis stepper question

If I want to use 2 x axis steppers what do I have to do that is different electrically and electronically than a singe stepper set up?
    Thanks

Use two drives, two motors, and slave them in software. Each motor needs it's own step and direction signals, so you'll need 4 output pins for the X axis.
