    Arc Toolpath has straight side

Created a taper hole in a solid with boolean operation in mastercam X4. When rough pocket or finish toolpath is created, I get a flat side on the arc all the way down (shows on backplot ,verify and part when machined). I have a Bridgeport R2E3, therefore post is set to break circle into quadrants, using radius (but I have tried I,J,K) in absolute (g90) and yes the xy is ticked. This post works great for 2D ops and will produce round circles but when taper ????. Any ideas would be helpful. Picture attached shows result displayed.

If it shows in verification most probably it' s an issue before post gets involved.

You're using surface rough? I'd switch to "True Spiral" in pocket parameter then check if circular moves are posted.

I am using "True Spiral" on surface rough- pocketing. If I just do a round pocket with a set depth (2D) the output is 4 radius gcode lines which create a smooth circle cut. When surface rough is used there is a small flat section on the arc (taper). It should be noted that when I verify eather 2D or 3D ,my cut line showns a polygon toolpath, but the 2D path is correct in code and parts machined.

So this is output as straight line in code?

Can you send the mcam file & code?
