    Interfacing Stepper Motor

Hello, we have a stepper motor in our lab -we are not even sure if that's a stepper motor- that we want to interface with the computer -labveiw preferably-. It is integrated to a monochromator. At the moment it is disconnected from the monochromator and we operate monochromator manually. However we want to operate it automatically with.

Could you suggest any company or model that you think could be a replacement for this motor? It couldn't get any information about the motor as it's very old. I am attaching some pictures of the device. Thanks.

It appears to be a uni-polar stepper motor, but looks like it has a built in gearbox.
I believe Airpax are still around, if you google you may find them, the alternative is to use a miniature stepper and fit some kind of gearbox at the right reduction etc.

That branch of Airpax was sold to another company I cannot communicate them. Would you suggest any other company?

If you can figure out the gear ratio you could try one such as these.
