    AltCNC

    Hello everyone,
I want to begin with thanks to all those on the forum I had to learn that I have been a real help to build this CNC
    Some details:
construction of steel and aluminum profiles (recovered), 4X trapezoidal screw thread 16 and be double adjustable wrench on each bolt, the Ertalite TX, cast and machined housing linear bearings "in house", linear bearings 20 on Y and Z, 16 X, limiting head race (microswitch), X4 3Nm motors, drivers, 4.2A, 50 mm MDF worktop, Kress Milling 800 W
    Dimensions: L = 1400mm L = 1300mm, I = 1550 mm, travel of useful 1150X1050X250 mm
Work-load speed of 2500 mm / min with no loss of steps, I did test milling 2000 mm / min without pre-processing errors large enough.
How fast can I buy a water-cooled milling 2.2 KW, and inverter.

    Any suggestion is welcome !

This is great! Will keep me inspired to build a bigger machine in the future. Very clean indeed.

    Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback, if anyone wants more details or pictures, please tell me.
When I have time, I will put some videos with AltCNC, while working.

    Upgrade

A small upgrade: 0-24000 RPM 2.2 kW watercooled. Control starting, stopping and speed directly from Mach3 to port 485. It works OK without interfering with the control of CNC's.

Cool! A machine that builds it's own table surface mount. Ingenious!

I'm not sure if that's what you mean but yes, linear bearings housings are cast from aluminum, and then rectified .... homemade.

    A axis

    New upgrade !
I built an another axis, solid enough, report 1/3, transmission with belt, motor 3 Nm, without backlash.
I built it on the system MT2 to multiple devices, even for end mills, drills ....
I can catch a diameter of 200 mm and 1000 mm length.
It works OK without any problems.
