    Swap problem on a Torq-cut 22

    Hi,

To make a long story short, I due to make a servicing on the z axis servo of my torq-cut 22. As I saw the bad shape of that axis, I decide to swap it with the X axis servo, which I also make a servicing on it due to a bad bearing.

Now all servo in place, wired properly, I started the machine. After the boot, I've engage drives... all seems ok until I tryed to jog the X axis without homing the machine. It does a small move and then, an alarm came on which I don't remember (Im at home) Something like "Drive unable to command BMDC". I've search around the maintenance page and found a command to run a test. In this test all would go well except analog test.

As I saw, both Z and X axis doesn't seems to have their good encoder adresses for the ???DAC???

    Here is the question :

Do I have to set the good adresse for each encoders somewhere in the software?

It's just like the DX32 system detect that servo have being swaped.

Anyone have a clue about this?

I'll post more accurate info tomorrow.

    Thanks!

I tryed to delete this topic but...

So the problem is solved. I didn't know how but after removing the servo from the machine, open it, made a carefull inspection without finding anything, put back things together and on the the machine : things works!

Now I'll find a way to put a counterweight on the Z axis to that machine. If anyone have ever done it, I would like some photos.

    Thanks!
