I'm hoping there's someone on here who can lend some knowledge.
We're getting a P/S 009 alarm whenever we enter a tool command (T0101) either in MDI or in Auto mode. Let me start out at the beginning though....
We have a Tornos ENC-264 with a Fanuc 0TT-c control. I started the machine Monday morning and it had developed a 101 alarm on channel 1 (head 1) or Canal 1 as Tornos call it. The alarm would not clear any way but to do a Reset + Del + Pwr On. We exhausted all other efforts before such a drastic move. We contacted Fanuc & Tornos for advice first. Made sure all parameters were backed up (including the 900's). We wrote the diagnostics data that would need reset. We reloaded the parameters, checked twice for accuracy, checked again, went back to the original parameters that came with the machine in '94, still we have a P/S 009 alarm whenever we enter a tool change into the program. The 009 alarm is only on channel 1. Channel 2 works fine. The Txxxx command calls up a 9000 macro, but I'm not sure if the macro has gotten corrupted, or if we have a parameter issue, or something else.
I'd appreciate any light someone could shed on this,
