    Need a part scanned - tips/contacts/costs?

    Hi guys,

I need a 3D model of a Harley Motorcycle rear fender. I use Solidworks to design motorcycle parts, and it's proving difficult to make my own solid model and measure the curves.

Anyone have any tips on companies (ideally local to me, but I could ship the part if need be) that could scan the fender and provide me with a solid model I can open right in Solidworks?

Also, anyone care to make a guess on cost? For all I know, it could cost $50 or $500, I really have no idea.

I would guess it would be $300ish. Yes, after it has been scanned, a file could be sent to you, and you would be able to open it right up in solid works. So cool....
    Where is local to you?

It's in our business scope, However you have to mail the part to us,So you'd better find a local company to down the cost.If you want, I will show you the price after having a look of your part pic or you give me the size for the part.
