    How much slide oil does your Mazak cnc use??

    Just a quick question about slide oil on mazak lathe (ours is a old Slant turn 40). We seen to be going through the oil very quickly and getting alot of oil in the coolant. What type of oil do you use?? im running the machine now with some covers removed to see where the majority is going but thought i would find out how much oil is the norm, and what oil people recomend.     Probably no comparison but I drive a Variaxis 630-5X and we use Mobil Vactra No.2 (ISO VG 68).
    I put in 2 litres every 160hrs.

    Thanks fot the reply Wheelz.... Its only taken me 7 years to see your comment for the first time. Still running the Mazak, and it still uses a bit of lube oil. Looking forward to hearing from you in 2025....
