basically it's just a bolt head hole
using a 4mm endmill, 4mm pilot hole, offsets set properly
it pockets with no problems, then returns to center and just sits there

    F250. has the same problem
but if i increase the feed to F500. , it retracts fine

    any ideas?

I don't know why but maybe it wants a G90 in the retract move after the pocket? Seems like it should just rapid up incrementally 35mm but it's worth a shot.

A similar example in the manual shows a G90 used on the line right after the G13 line.
    Ex: G00 G90 Z35. M09

So I would give that a try.
