    Chip Load

How much do you increase your chip load from manufacture recommend when using a trochoidal tool path. According to SGS website it appears to me that their recommended chip load is based on 50% step over.

SGS home page then to the high performace section. Each type of endmill is listed and there is a speeds and feeds pdf with each. If they figure the chip load at 40 or 50 percent step over can I increase proportionally as my step over decreases? Like can I run 4-5 times faster feed rates if Im only stepping over 10 percent in a trochoidal tool path?

I suggest about 20 to 30% matters on tool and what material you are cutting.
