Hi guys


Not having any luck trying to search a program i saw a few years back.


I basically have 3D models I would like split into layers so a laser cutter could cut the shapes

I would then like to assemble these from the ground up giving me an accurate representation of the model.

I remember seeing a special program which would separate the model in to cut-table layers.

Been googleing and can't seem to find anything,

Some one must be using similar type of program. Any ideas

Do you have a CAD package? You could do it pretty easily with it.

Hello rbs,

I don't think Cut3D is the right software for your application.

Cut3D is designed for creating CNC toolpaths for cutting 3D models,
it's not designed to drive Lasers - it does not create vector boundaries
which I would guess is what the laser requires.
