    Osai Serie 10 - Programing

    Hello,

I would like to know how can I get the current date and time thru an Osai part program. The (TIM) function only reports xx seconds since the machine warmup. I need the full date (DD/MM/YY) with time (HH:MM:SS).

    Thanks!

Thanks. I was thinking of using the CndexLinkUser.dll.

Cndex will not help you to get teh data into the part program, you could perhaps create a continuously running PC program that copies the date into some SC variables, which you could interrogate in the part program.
If it is not already activated the cndex option is an additional cost item - contact [email protected] with the CNC code number.
