    Gregg, that's a hard question without more information. Different CAM programs are better at different tasks.

    In general, I feel the most efficient ones are the ones that allow the operator to sequence (resequence) the tools paths.

    Alphacam is very good in this regard.

    Raster machining is never going to be the fastest way, it's usually just the easiest way for the CAM program to do it, imo.
