hello
I am potentially going to buy a lillian cnc vertical mill with anilam 1100m controller.
I am currently used to programming in g codes and toolpathing programs in bobcad. I think that this controller is conversational?, not quite sure what that means?
My questions are,

1-Has anyone had experience with this controller and successfully
programmed it with bobcad?
2-Is the controller/machine truly 3d?

We have 3000m control and it only takes Conversational, meaning no G-Codes since it will not understand it. I use mastercam to generate the conversational using mastercam post.

3D is possible since MasterCam will break 3D into vectors anyway.

Here's a little known secret...

Both the 1100 and the 3300 can run G-code straight up, as long as every line begins with an @ sign.

@N10 G70 G90
@N20 G0 T0 Z0 M5
etc..
@N100 M02

If you format a program like that, and you give it a .M extension, you can transfer it to the CNC and run it. Just can't easily re-edit it there. Download a 5000M or 6000M (G-code) manual from their website and that will answer most questions about what format the G-code address letters would have to be in for it to like it.
