Sinpo DRO? - Need a Cheap DRO for a Bridgeport Mill - Need Advice

Hey guys, I bought a Bridgeport mill. It's a series I with the smaller 9x32 table size. I'm looking for an accurate Digital Readout on the cheap, however I still want it to work well, be accurate and repeatable, otherwise what's the point?!

So far I seem to have two choices, either the chinese scales that are similar to a calipers, or the chinese glass scales. It appears that the glass scales are slightly more accurate, but cost more.

I would also like to be able to view the readings without having to look at the little scale on the slide.

So far, I I'm looking at this one:

SINPO 3 AXIS DIGITAL READOUT DRO MILL KIT GLASS SCALE - eBay (item 260781055142 end time Jun-06-11 20:07:15 PDT)

Does anyone have any experience with the Sinpo DRO's?

Would this be worth spending the extra money over the caliper type?

    Thanks!

    DRO Bridgeport

    Hello,
I purchased my 3 axis DRO for my Bridgeport from JJ at -

SINPO 3- axis digital readout (complete DRO kit) | eBay

Great service, communication and delivery through DHL. Installed without any problems however I made up my own mountings. Liked it so much I bought a second unit for my Hipower Lathe.

Thanks Me2, I actually found a different listing that sells Sinpo that appears to have reasonable mounts as well. What do you think about the mounts in this auction?

    G'Day Firestorm,
Yep, almost the same package as I got, mounts, shims fasteners etc. As I mentioned I manufactured my own mounts to suit my application. The mounts you get supplied are generic and can be modified to suit but I found it a much neater arrangement to make my own.
