    Fellow Hobbyist in SE Qld

    Hi Guys,

Was wondering if there are any hobbyists in the SE Qld area around Browns Plains to the Jimboomba area? That may have a CNC Router or CNC Mill that might be willing to assist me with cutting some parts for a CNC Lathe Mill project I am working on.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi John,

    Good to hear from you.

Apart from a mate of mine in Stafford on the North Side (not cnc just lathe), there doesn't seem to be very many in this cnc/hobby?

Have you just started or have you been collecting parts and components for a while learning as you go like me.

I've been slowly accumulating for over a year.

That HM-46 CNC'd is what I would like to have as my Mill when I can afford it.

I've been drawing up various parts that I need to make to be able to CNC the various axis. One good thing about taking my time is that I get time (lots) to think about the best way to accomplish what I would like to achieve with my particular lathe, some pictures in this thread here

From where do you hail, Eric?

Well I am at Jimboomba so we are not to far from each other.

What do you use your mill and lathe for? Apart from the obvious.

    Hi,

Sorry about not replying sooner. I changed email addresses earlier this year and totally forgot to update the details on cnczone. I've fixed the email details this morning so shouldn't be a problem in the future.

I replied via PM last night. I'm still keen to help anyone who is interested in CNC machines.

    Regards
