    Arcs found when loading into cncwrapper

    Hi,

    I write a couple of words in cambam then load into cnc wrapper to wrap around a tube but I get the message "arcs found" and it wont load it. what are arcs and how can a fix the problem?

    I haven't used CNC wrapper myself, but it sounds like it cannot wrap arc gcode moves (G02,G03 codes).

    You can get around this by making CamBam convert arc moves to straight line moves (G01).

    In the latest CamBam version (0.9.8), you can set this in the post processor definitions. In here there is a property 'ArcOutput' which you can change to 'ConvertToLines'. There is an associated property 'ArcToLinesTolerance' which will determine how many line segments are used to replace the arcs.
