I have a machine with FANUC control 11 which is in German. Does anyone have optional parameters for FANUC 10/11 or if someone knows the exactly parameters I would be grateful to him to send me on pm or write here on the forum.
Thanks,
Boban

the option is param 9926 bit 6. This must be changed through IPL screen in hexadecimal.
If this bit is set already, there will be a regular param to set the specific language. (don't know which one)
Bill,
The 9900 parameters are the ones starting at the 16 series control. The 11 series are 9100. I did a quick look and could not find any reference in the option parameters for language.
Boban,
I already posted in the other forum to your question and I will post here as well. I don't have the 11series manual but the 15 is very close. It should be parameter 2205.4 which is =1 for German. You will have to set to 0 and then set 2205.2 for english.

Thanks for the reply, currently I am not able to try this on a machine, a weekend is not working. On Monday I will try and I will write the result, thanks anyway.
Thanks Stevo1. That should have been 9126 bit 6 for language:JAPANESE, ENGLISH, GERMAN, FRENCH, ITALIAN, SPANISH, SWEDISH. This is from Alpha4v1
database (GEfanuc database). It shows the same option for 15a, The option has to be turned on first.
Got it. Overlooked it before.
Steve
Hi
Today I succeeded in to switch the language to English.
Parameter is 9126 bit 2
but I had to do a change in IPL Menu in hex format
To change option parameters you have to load them in hex.
Power up the control holding in the "-" and "." pushbuttons.
This will bring up the IPL page
Press 9 twice then input.
This will bring up the option parameters.
Press input until you get to the option 27
Enter the 4 then press input.
Press input until you get to the end.
Press 6 input.
AND THAT'S IT
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR ANSWERS!
Boban
So you did not have to set parameter 2205?
Stevo
No, not at all, because parameter 2205 does not have 7 bits!
Boban
Interesting. Good to know.
Thanks for posting your solution.
