    Advice Needed on Software

I am new to CNC so I can't tell you what I don't know. I am building a 25"x25" cnc router table based on the Solsylva plans. I am ready to buy drives/motors/software. I found the following package on ebay: Gecko G540 3 Nema23 Steppers 300 oz/in Mach3 Bobcad V21 | eBay

I currently have access to Autocad and Alibre Pro that I could use for drawing. My thought is that v21 of BobCad is bundled with the ebay kit and could be used for generating gcode after I make my drawings in Autocad or Alibre.

Please consider the first 5 words of the post and offer any advice you may have..

    Thanks in advance,
    Brent

You should be able to import your drawing files into BobCAD and generate code. Of course you can also draw in BobCAD. V21 is pretty easy to draw in and since you will be working in 2d, you should have no problems.
