Floppy Controller card PCI floppy drive USB kit

The Floppy drive controller on my HP Brio BA 600 has failed.

I am very keen on using flopppy disks for date transfer between PCs and also to boot into MS DOS 6.22.

What alternatives are there for failed On-board floppy controller - Floppy Controller card / PCI floppy drive USB kit or any other way?

Where can I buy them - preferably in Chennai, India?

    Price?

    about pci floppy controller

    Hi
I dont think you will be able to find the fdd controller so easily. I am already in search for the same from last 6 months. There are few companies like KryoFlux - USB Floppy Controller but the product is too expensive
I need it for the Floppy Drive emulators, so that they can be brought into working on laptops in usb interface.

Please keep me posted if you find one.
    Regards
    Vishal.

    Hi logamuthu

it will be easier to find an external USB floppy drive than a
    internal floppy control card

the first result of a web search :-

    Amazon.co.uk: usb floppy a drives - Electronics & Photo

if your computer is not too old you should be able to boot from an external
    USB floppy drive
