I bought a Renishaw MP700 a while back from a 3rd party. Finally got to use it today and after about 15 minuets it quit working. Now it always flashes red when its turned on. Worked great for the 15 minuets it worked. I am wondering how Renishaw would handle something like this? I dont have a receipt from Renishaw. Probe is brand new not a mark on it. Is this something I can fix myself? I see nothing in the manual about a flashing red LED other than when the probe is triggered.

I wish it was that simple. I guess I will be calling them tomorrow. I hope they are gentle as I was unable to locate any lube that came with the probe
