Hi,
I imported an stl file into cambam, but the imported object (3D) looks very dark and hardly can be seen. I got back to Inventor program where I designed the 3D object anc colored it with golden color, back to cambam, again no effect!

I wonder how to change the colors, and how to view the 3D object in cambam, like the 2nd image I attached here (and I attach mine too, how my import looks like).

Please point me out of the problem

Fwiw, .stl files contain no color information.

I've never used CamBam, so can't help you there.

Have a look in Inventor and see if there is a way to 'Invert Normals', when you do the .STL conversion/export.

I think you are seeing the colour of the back faces of your model there, which as you can see, don't show up very well.

Solids are usually displayed in green, but you can choose any colour you like once imported.
