    Boundary not in construction plane error?

    Hi,

    Mastercam X5
    I can setup tool paths for flat surfaces, the curved surface and the holes I keep getting this "boundary does not lie in the construction plane" error. I can open up a cube with holes in it and I can setup tool paths fine for that, just not cylinders.
    im useing pocket toolpath

    Can anyone help with this error?

    Thanks

    The boundary that you are selecting is not laying flat, ( all points having tha same Z value )

    Pre-set a Z plane value, drawing level, color for easier separation

    For wireframe geometry
    Try using Xform --> Project

    For getting a boundary from surfaces
    create the sufaces from solid faces --> run the Create_boundary.DLL c-hook ,
