Hello,

We have a punching trumpf trumatic 180w Rotation with fanuc 6M .
We have the problem that it doesn't put in the head the upper and the lower tool and we can not do the set up of the machine to start working.
We have checked all the sensors and they all work properly and finally we come up that there must be a problem from the i/o boards of the Fanuc system.

Can anyone help me please?

Hi,
Have you Ladder diagram manual? This manual contains all I/O signals addresses and logic of their processing.
If press sub-mode key [DIAGN] and enterring address of sensor signal possible to check the their bit status in Connection Unit.

Yes we have a ladder diagram manual.
We found that address 12.0 that open and closes an air valve it should be open(have power), it doesn't have power and it is closed.
We track it back and it goes to the i/o boards.
We do not know what to do next.

If I remember correctly the MS140 is a Siemens PSU then your control is a Siemens 8N
