    ECOCA - MELDAS MAGIC 64L

    ALARM: EMERGENCY EXIN
    M01 OPERATION ERROR XZ

    Detail of machine are as under,

    NC - MELDAS MAGIC 64L
    PC - MAGIC Pro-HI/L ( INTL) BDD - A02 W016 - A0
    PLC - ECOCA - ELALL - M5
    SYSTEM ID - 2090745880

    In this machine, system power supply gone bad. We replaced the supply , now we are facing following alarms,
    EMERGENCY EXIN

    M01 OPERATION ERROR XZ

    According to the electrical diagram, hard over travel switches are optional & are missing in machine.
    In diagnosis mode, checked other inputs like cycle start , mode change switch which are ok.
    Surprisingly no any out put is being generated.
    Tried to check the PLC ladder but it is not being open. When searched any input like X29 or similar it shows ERROR.
    When tried to check PLC size it shows
    LINK 0 / KBYTE
    LADDER 0 / KB
    MESSAGE 0/ KB
    I loaded all data by floppy even then it shows the same alarm. ( path c:/ncbac )

    Next Day Work::stickpoke

    To-day I reloaded all the data, but still no improvement & same alarm is being displayed.
    In Meldas Magic screen tried to open the PLC ladder.
    Sequence ... Ctr + F , Menu , 9main, monitor , NO / NC , X1F & enter it shows Prog not found.

    When I tried to search by Rung No. 100,
    PLC ladder is being displayed but when I checked whole ladder, no any X or Y contact was found.

    I am quite confused, pl help.
    In seven segment display of controller it shows " A "

    ( Can we load the data with the help of RS232 port.)

    PL send your suggestion to solve the problem..

    Thanks:drowning::drowning::drowning:

    Did you fix your problem? I have the exact same error message :"Protection key not found".
    I installed everything from scratch on a new PC. Everything works fine as far as the Meldasmagic configuration and startup.
    Only Magicpro HI/L is complaining at startup saying the :"Protection key not found".
    I can't find any "key" or registry entry or file for that...
    Any one can help?
