So I bought the Optimum BF20 because that was all I could get my hands on at the time, and have begun converting it. I have allocated most of the mechanical parts, and a lot of it is certainly overkill, but can't hurt. The parts I have to use are as follows:

3 20th Century Machine (USA made) ground ballscrews with double preloaded nuts

2 sets of 12x28 P4 Angular contact bearings for the X and Y screws

I am replacing the milling head with a head made by EMCO, with a BT30 spindle. I have a bunch of tooling for that as well.

Bijur lubricant pump for a Bridgeport that I modified by replacing the spring with something a bit weaker and more appropriate - it works like a charm now

I also have all of the fittings, etc. to fit the stainless steel lines to the saddle. I purchased a Parker 1/8" tubing bender on Ebay for the job, and it looks like it's going to be a snap to do! This should be an interesting project that I hope to complete within the next few weeks. All I have really accomplished so far was collecting the parts and some work on the saddle. I'll post a picture of the stuff below.
