Fanuc OMC master board - help

    Hi
I have milling center Shizuoka B3V 410 with fanuc OMc.
When I press "power on" on my pcb (A20B-2000-0180/03A), only leds flash L4, L5, L6 leds. Monitor display anything. System is dead.
I checked power supply and battery, all voltage on carts are correct.
Input module is ok - green led.
I checked all switches, limits, sensors - are ok.
If I disconnected all card on master pcb only L4 light.
L4 is off if I mount memory and I/O card.
L1, L2, L3 not flashed ever - it is normal operation??
I have NC/Diagnostic parameters. Ladder PMC is in eeprom.
Please help, I don't have ideas.

    Thanks drdos.

On the monitor connector is not any signal (R, G, B, Hsyn, V syn) - I checked oscilloscope.
If I disconnected only memory card L3 no light.
My memory card lost parameters so controller should display alarm.
    Alarm - L2 should light.
I think that part of the motherboard control L1, L2, L3 is faulty.
Day after tomorrow i replace 80386dx in master pcb.
    Tips please.

    I done a test.
I removed the processor from the socket and LED flash as well.
    L1, L2, L3 no light.
    Maybe processor is faulty ??

Please remember these lights are based on ALL boards being plugged in. If you remove a board then all bets are off as to what these lights mean. If you are sure all memory has been lost and you have a known good backup the try press and hold RESET & DELETE while powering up the CNC. This will clear all memory on you memory board. If that fails the unplug all plugs from the boards to rule out an external short bringing down the system.

I did a test: power on + reset + delete is the same.
I did a test: all plug disconnected + power on is the same (only blink L4, L5 L6)
System dead, the monitor dark. The monitor is not damaged (cathode emits electrons).
If you turn on working properly system the leds from L1 to L6 flash?

Your problem is one of four things. Memory Board, Master Board, Axes board, Power Supply. You are going to need a way to either test these or replace these. If you have another machine with the same controller you might be able to swap out the parts between the two controllers. Be very careful when swapping the memory board as you risk loosing all memory in the other machine as well.

I checked my power supply, all voltage, signal and connectors - ok.
    All boards may correct voltage.
I will have to apply a method of swap boards.
I trying to find logic in the relationships between cards.
Because L4 LED lights up and off axis assuming that the card is correct.
    Power supply ok
PMC assuming that the card is correct.
I/O assuming that the card is correct.
No video signal - memory card maybe damaged.
No lights all led - master pcb maybe damaged.
System is complicated and without the knowledge of the service is difficult to diagnose.

    Thanks drdos
I will inform you how I will know more.

Your Mother board is OK , It may be a cause Due to Memory , Or graphix card . Are you using a Graphix card or the Cable from CRT is direcrt mounted on the mother board, The processor you removed Check it again Wheather it is properly Fitted in the card or Not? In my 10 Years of Service span I had Never seen a 80386 Faulty , It is having an option of auto shut down . Untill you will not apply any additional Voltage on the Microprocessor It will not faulty in 99% Cases, Fanuc Technology is Excellent, please mail me the complete Problem aloingwith the Picture on [email protected] So I can help you ,also please mention the board type (mother board Number or Model A B or C type)
