lathe tooling size and source recomendation

    guys,
i need some lathe stuf and i need your advice.
i will need a set of indexable turning tools and i want to know witch one to order. i see that there are 10mm and 12mm tools . my lathe is suitable for max 13mm tool and is a 280x700mm 1000w lathe. so i can use both the 12 and the 10mm .

    but witch is suitable?

i bought the lathe now and i am not familiar with that kind of machinery.please someone let me know what size tools to look for.

also, every brand of that indexable tools only use their own inserts?

can someone suggests an online shop?my google search come with milions and i do not have the experience to choose.

thanks ,i apreciate your help and please forgive the stupid questions.
