I hope a syil X5 owner will be kind enough to satisfy my curiosity as to the linear
guides used in there machines. It looks to be the smallest machine available with
linear bearings, apart from the hm-070x.I am trying to find my way around the linear guide
specifications and design formula and I hope knowing what a commercial designer is using and a
bit of "reverse engineering" might give a benchmark to compare with.I am sure commercial
manufacturers don't over design,so reference to a commercially designed machine is the best
starting point.
I know they use Hiwin guides .The m420l (which "looks like" the syil x7) spec sheet
says it has 20mm rails on the x and y and 25mm on the z.The novakon nm-200 (similar to syil
x6)according to another member on this forum has hgh-25ca bearings on the z.A model number
would be great, a measurement of the rails width, spacing and truck length on each axis
would be helpful to.Also from the pictures it appears they only have 2 securing
screws/truck is that correct?
Thank you.Robert.
