I am doing homemade small plasma cutter.
I want to cut iron panel with this machine. Iron tichness is only 1.5 mm.
How many amper do you need for this cutting?
Which current range reosanable for cuting the 1.5 mm aluminyum panel?
Also I need value of air pressure.

It is about 10 amperes you can cut it but recommended gas is Nitrogen coz you have low cust , excellent cuts and it is faster than air as plasma gas. The cost is lower even the price of gas coz you have more the consumables life over air plasma... The pressure you can use is about 70 psi but remember other thing very important is the concentration of the gas, density (flow/mm²) . You can reach good results with this important parameter.
