I am doing a profile, which is basically a pocket and using a larger EM (.25 IN) to clear out the pocket. Then I need to drop down to a smaller EM (.125 IN) and clean up the corners with a finishing pass.

How do you setup the file so secondary profiles for finish passes do not retrace over the entire inside of my pocket. I only need to make a finish pass and then let it radius the corners as it does that?

Create a cross-shaped avoid region to block off most of the pocket (assuming it's square).

Actually I figured out a way but have not machined it yet. I created a pocket MOP then followup with a profile. I would think given the same dimensions it should work.

I create three MOPs. The first for the pocket, leaving a few thou for cleanup. The second for profiling just the corners so that little EM isn't trying to take it all at once. And the third to profile and clean up the entire perimeter.

Yep
I usually use profile for both cutters but pocket and then profile is more politically correct.
