    measurement problems/queries

    Hi

    I am cutting polystyrene L 400MM (X AXIS) X W 110MM with R55 & R25
    DRAWINGS.dxf Drawings of project

The problem I am experiencing is length of the final product ends up 10mm longer -- from 400mm to 410mm.

    The width is okay

    Any advice

    Thank You

    Gasant

I do not think there is a problem with your CAD file. (See attachment.) Assume you are cutting the figure on lower right side. More likely your material is moving during cutting or there is a problem in you machine. Make a post in an appropriate group to get help with your machine.

    Thank You txcncman

However when I cut without radius the measurements are perfect.
Could that be the problem (radius)

Why is length measurements incorrect compared with width measurements which is correct on final cutting product which share the same radius.

    Any ideas

Those issues would be best addressed in a different forum catagory, either CAM, G-code, or your machine type. To be able to fully answer your questions, any that help will probably want to know your machine information and see the code you are using to make the cutting.
