    Progress update

Was hoping to actually apply power for the first time today to make sure nothing smokes but it didn't happen. That will have to wait until Sunday.

The control box is not fully configured, but it has enough to do initial power up checks. Then I need to connectorize the motor cables and mount the control box back on the machine.

Hopefully the above will go smooth and then I can do some movement checks to see if the ghosts are gone or more trouble shooting needs to be done.

I can't TELL you how very much I hope the ghost did not move with the rest of it.

Anyhow, here's a few pics of where we stand and a couple of 'in progress' pics of the AC side of the box.

I hemmed and hawed and finally decided to put the switches and pot for the SuperPID on the AC side. Could have gone either way, but did it this way.

    Wish me luck

    BobL.

Phase 1 Power up Complete !

Big sigh of relief today. Got the box powered up and talking to the PC. Didn't go without it's hiccups, but luckily nothing major.

Didn't get to putting connectors on the motor cables yet but this was a big step.

Now it's just a matter of hooking it up and seeing if it did the trick.
