SERVO LAG EXCESS Y AXIS (Y axis won't home)

    Dear All,

As I wrote in a precedent post I bought a Mazak VQC20/50 controlled by a Mazatrol CAM M-2

    My problem:

When I try to home Y, after moving Y+ by impulse, I finish with a message:
"2 ECART TROP IMPORTANT AXE Y" wich can be translate by "2 SERVO LAG EXCESS Y AXIS"

    Does anyone have an idea?

Mr Mazak told me that it can be a servo problem and I need a mitsubishi tech but I spend two much money in this tool...
I hope there is a solution because I saw this machine working.
    Thanks

With Eliseo's help (he send me the complete CAM M2 operator manual),
I find the english message equivalent to french "ecart trop important axe Y"

The english error is "SERVO LAG EXCESS Y AXIS"
    Thank you

Some time ago, I had the same problem.
Finally I had to replace Z axis encoder and clean position switches.

    Thanks again Eliseo,
I'll first try to find the Y axis position switchs, I don't know where are they but I'll investigate this evening.

Thanks... I've found I think the most stupid problem.

After understanding how the "home" process works. I disassemble the Y axis protectors and inspect the screws, the servo, the belt... I move Y axis in direction of the proximity sensor and saw a big screw blocking the travelling!!!!

The carrier forgot to remove it!

Without this screw the Y axis can go near the proximity sensor and now...
