VCE-750 with BLDC Servo - X Axis Servo fault

    Hello my Friends

I'm Daniel from Germany. I have buyed HAAS VCE-750 new in 1996, without X Axis BLDC servo. I have two questions:
    - where can i buy such a Servo
    - can I replace all servos with another AC servos and Drivers ? i think it is possible but i need the control signals from Control System to servo amplifer. What signals are they ?

    Best Regards
    Daniel

    P.S.
    Sorry for my english

    HAAS uses Yaskawa motors
    and servo-amps are HAAS made

    Hallo Robby

thx for Your Answer. Do You know what signals use HAAS to control the servo amps ? Is it +/-10V or Step/Dir or maybe own protocol from Haas ?

    Thanks

    Hey Dan
Don't know exactly, but if I compare with Manual Pulse Generator
    It uses +/- 5VDC
Signals come directly from MoCon Board

If it is so, then i will replace the DC Motors and amps with AC servo system with Analog Input. Know any one on which PIN's is the Control Signal from Control system ? Maybe any one have a Manual ?

I got confused, when you write BL, for HAAS means brushless!
So I thought you had AC Motors.
brush motors work with 160 VDC and power is generated in Board on right side Of servo-drives.
With rainbow cables which happen to be voltage to board circuit and control is managed by Motif Board.
    Still dont have configuration
I will look in my notes to see if find something

I have BLDC so Brushless DC servos. One servo is fault and as i know new motor is very expensive. So my Idea was to replace it with Universal AC Servomotors and AC Amps. Then i will need new transformer and i have to connect some I/O to control system from HAAS. But the most important info is what signal do i bekome from CNC Control to control the servos .

    Thank You for Your Help
