    Any G-codes that can change HAAS settings?

    Hi,
    I need to actively change one of the HAAS settings wail the machine is running.
    I know that I can G10 can preset offsets and length and Dia offsets, but can it also change setting?

    If so can someone please let me know how this is done?

    Considering that you have to push E-Stop to change Parameters you are not going to do it while the machine is running.

    You didn't. You said setting a number of times. Didn't say parameter once. Hrmmmm


    Which setting are you trying to change? Do you have the Variables Option?

    I did say parameter , but edited the post and replaced it with settings.

    We need to change setting 191. We want to go from rough to finish.

    According to the manual, G187 P1 sets smoothness level to Rough, G187 P3 sets it to Finish.
