    unexpected error

    Hi
I have Alibre11 not on maintenance any more and when I go to start it on any of the two computers I have it on a message comes up,
An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again. If the problem persists contact customer support and provide the following information.
    Could not save license key.

I could understand something wrong with one of the computers but not both.
I have phoned and left the information and my contact number twice now with no response in two weeks, have I been cast to the wolves because we did not renew the maintenance?

Try posting this question on Alibre's componay-hosted forum and you will probably get an answer from the users there shortly. You may just need to get a special license for users that are no longer on maintenance.

Did you buy direct from Alibre in the US or from a re-seller in Canada?

Directly from Alibre. Part of the problem is they are not responding to my phone calls and for some reason (maybe something I did, I have no idea) none of my log on passwords work on there site or forum any more!!!

Glad to hear that you resolved the forum issue. Good luck on the perpetual license.

When this happens (at least on Windows 7) you need to right click on the Alibre Design icon and choose "Run As Administrator" - that way it has permission to update the license file.

Hope this helps someone else with the same issue.
