I am cutting a 1.07 wide slot on the face of a part. I have it programmed in Gibbs but since updating it's throwing some new code to me. The machine is a Puma 400 LM. We have a full C Axis but no Y Axis. My program has a G112 and G113 in the program. I cant really find too much information on G112 and G113. Can someone shed some light on this for me?

G112/G113 turn polar interpolation on & off.

If you want to use polar mode the command is G12.1 to turn on and G13 to turn off. All this information is available through your local dealer. Call them and make the salesman get off is a$$ and get you want you need.
