Where are the best/cheapest places to buy ball screws, linear bearings/rails, etc?

Im sure there is always an optimal cost-benefit sweet spot for everyone on their indifference/utility curves for purchases.

Im actually just wondering where are some of the 'go to' places for buying these items.

Ebay does have some seemingly cheap deals. Misumi, roton, etc? Any more?

On Ebay check for 'linearmotionbearings2008' - Mr. Chai, he has some good price-performance deals

I've never used this vendor but the prices seem very reasonable
overstock & surplus automation products: Heavy Duty Blocks/Rail, LG Square & Flange Blocks

I have used linearmotionbearings a few times, an honest vendor selling okay stuff. Shipping adds up on heavy and lengthy items.

I found surplus precision ground Kuroda ballscrews on eBay. They were new in original packaging, about 42" long for $130 each shipped from US. Pretty good deal for backlash-free C5-grade lead screws and almost too nice for my DIY project. I needed 4 lead screws but bought a 5th just in case I screw up something.

You may have to look around a bit and wait until something pops up that fits your need.
