Need pinout for 14-pin serial encoder

    (Mostly to Al the man)
I need the pinout for the 14-pin dual-row connector on serial pulsecoders.
This one is the A860-0360-V501, but I suspect they are all the same.
I looked around in the documents you have already supplied, but couldn't
    find it in those.

Thanks again for all the help you've given me so far!

    Oh, that's really helpful!

The people I am working with are buying motors from a German firm with Fanuc
encoders on them, and the docs they are getting are clearly wrong. Just measuring
which pins are shorted together on the encoder, it is clear the pinout sheet they
have can't be right. I don't have any contacts at Fanuc, but Al the Man has always
been a great fount of knowledge on Fanuc stuff.

Do you have any motor or encoder numbers?
I have the Alpha & Beta motor pin outs that have the double row 12 pin or 15 pin, no 14p so far.

Fantastic, Al! Thanks, this seems to match the ohmmeter readings I got off the unit.
