    single axis controller

does anyone know where I would be able to find instructions and schematics for a single axis stepper controller? I am trying to make a rotary table for my router so that I would be able to acurately turn my workpiece. I am hoping to use this to make wooden gears for a wood clock with my router.
any help would be great. This does not have to be controlled by a computer but some adjestment would be terrific.

thank you all for your help
    Rob

if that is all you need one for and speed isn't an issue than using a 5804 chip is probably the simplist driver to build. they are pretty easy to hook up and i think you should be able to schematics easily enough with a google search.

Well....... Long story short, When I went to build my machine (several years ago) none of the "affordable" boards I found I liked the design. So I went my own path, reviving my design skills and my "passion for electronics". I since spent the better part of my free time (and too much of my free money) for those two years with stepper drive electonics. Kept getting asked for some blank pcb boards, so I had a batch made, I'm about ready to branch out with three new blank pcb's to offer. I have several different prototypes that have been checked out, that I have moved on from that I would be willing to sell. what kind of motor? bipolar or unipolar, and how much current?
