    Trunnion on VM1?

Is it possible to add a trunnion to a VM1 to make it into a more versatile machine? It was something brought up by a tool salesman the other day and I thought I'd see if anyone here had any ideas.

Don't see why not if you already have the 4th axis. We have a 4th with trunnion on our vmx64, it's only a little bit of extra plumbing for the brake.

I guess maybe I used the terminology wrong. We only have the 3-axis at the moment, what I'd like to do is add a rotary table (I think). I don't think we could go full 5-axis on the machine, but then again, I don't know what's out there for options.
